What this tool does
Lists the items exchanged with one counterparty as an itemized transaction statement. It totals each item, then shows subtotal, tax, and the grand total, ready to print.
How to use it
- Enter both parties, the transaction date, and a statement number.
- Fill in item name, specification, quantity, and unit price for each line.
- Enter the applicable tax rate.
- Export with Print / Save PDF.
Worked example
A single line with quantity 2 at 15,000 gives a 30,000 subtotal, and 33,000 total at a 10% rate.
Frequently asked questions
- How is this different from an invoice?
- A transaction statement records what was exchanged and at what price; an invoice requests payment. The arithmetic is the same, so either use works.
- Can one sheet cover several dates?
- Write the date into each item line yourself. The tool does not group lines by date.
What this tool does not cover
Carried-forward balances, receivable aging, and period running totals are not computed. Reconcile against your ledger separately.
