What this tool does

Builds a quote from items and unit prices. It sums line totals into subtotal, tax, and the quoted total, in a printable layout.

How to use it

  1. Enter quote number, issue date, validity period, and currency.
  2. Fill in item, quantity, and unit price for each line.
  3. Enter the tax rate.
  4. Export with Print / Save PDF.

Worked example

Quantity 2 at 15,000 gives a 30,000 line total and a 33,000 grand total at 10% tax.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a validity period?
Not required, but it reduces disputes for items whose cost or exchange rate moves. Type it into the date field.
Can I make an invoice with this layout?
The arithmetic is the same, but the dedicated invoice tool has fields for invoice number and payment details, so it fits better.

What this tool does not cover

Volume price tiers, option price lists, and shipping calculations are not supported. Only one tax rate is applied.
